Tanner
Undergrad & MBA — Utah Valley University
7+ years roofing · Former COO, $100M national roofing company
Tanner co-owns HM Roofing after seven-plus years in the industry, including serving as COO of a $100-million nationwide roofing company — experience he brought home to Utah County so his neighbors get big-company standards with hometown accountability. He earned his undergraduate degree and MBA at Utah Valley University, married his junior-high sweetheart, and is raising three towheaded boys. When he’s not talking roofs, you’ll find him outdoors — hunting, or dirt biking with his boys.
Riley
Accounting — BYU

Born and raised in Provo and a Timpview High School graduate, Riley co-owns HM Roofing and brings nine-plus years on Utah roofs plus an accounting degree from BYU — a rare combination that keeps the workmanship right and the numbers honest. From the first inspection to the final walkthrough, Riley makes sure the work on your roof matches the promise on your proposal.

Built the old-fashioned way
HM Roofing started the way most good Utah companies do — with family, hard work, and a reputation earned one roof at a time. Thirteen years and 500-plus roofs later, we’re still a family operation: the same people who shake your hand at the estimate are the ones standing behind the warranty years down the road.
We’re fully licensed and insured, factory-certified with GAF, and we install specialty systems — CeDUR, Brava, and ProVia metal — that most crews in the valley won’t touch. But the thing we’re proudest of isn’t a certification. It’s the five-star reviews our neighbors keep leaving us on Google.
